One of my pet peeves is when I get done paying I say thank you to the clerk because I get that it's a mundane, thankless job but in return I get a "uh huh" or "you're welcome." No idiot you need to thank me! I'm the customer say thank you to me. Not only did I not get a thank you, there was a 2nd person hanging out behind the cash register and despite a line forming he just stood there rather than opening up the other cash register right in front of him.
