Closed the last business day of the year. It's not a holiday!
Manager refused to sell plate with title and proof of insurance. This car has had a plate purchased every year for several years.
Be careful and double check your paperwork for spelling errors before you walk away from the counter. The agent misspelled my name and I had to jump through hoops to get the title to my vehicle replaced. It really took an act of god in traverse city office to get it right. Once the supervisor looked at who did up the title work in Cadillac, his eyes rolled. Evidently they have had to fix a ton of this particular agent's mistakes.
Drive to Lake City, MI and purchase plate without a problem.

These employees do not like there jobs and do not like waiting on customers so they piss them off so they will go to another office. This office has had a problem for many many years and nothing has been done to correct it. The State of Michigan might as well close this office as it is that BAD.
It was a dream going there I rather spend the time driving and sitting at the one in TC for 4 hours.
