They have updated the rooms a bit, the locker room is excellent, good service at the bar, although both places could have used more help for the overworked waitresses. The new lift is great. Lift operators very kind. And we saw Batman. So....
It's been a great place for our kids to learn to ski. Runs aren't long, but long enough. The area is big enough that our kids (6 and 8 years old) felt like they were exploring. Lift ticket, rental prices are about as good is gets in northern Michigan. It's become a tradition for us to visit on Christmas break.
The hills are amazing and clean af. I love going here the place is very clean and up to date. The lifts are in great condition kinda and getting off them is always a hassle but it is worth it. There is plenty of parachute men and beads to look at on the way up and there is stickers on the poles that are always fascinating.
The new owners have made a huge difference. At this pace Caberfae will challenge Crystal. The early season base did not come without hard work from the snowmakers. I commend them. The track was excellent under the circumstances. Looking forward to full opening, but well done for preseason skiing!! Thanks
Great runs. Awesome quality for what Michigan has to offer. I went on a day when the weather was in my favor, just for the evening. Great night deals. I also bought a sweet used helmet from the ski repair shop. All around amazing experience. I'll be back there for sure.
