Stopped and had breakfast here on our way traveling south. The service and food was great! Our server was very pleasant and the hostess/cashier was really nice and sweet. The only complaint was that of another server. Before the hostess even sat us one of the servers stood in the dining room complaining to the hostess about where she was about to seat us. She threw her arm out to her left, while complaining, as I was about to walk through. Good thing I was paying attention, otherwise she would have hit me. We had to stand there and wait for her to take a breath and put her arm down. After seating us the hostess was then given a lecture, in the dining room, by the same waitress. I work in the restaurant industry, serving tables and hosting. I found it to be quite rude and unprofessional for a server to behave like that in front of customers. These are things to discuss in the back. Being a hostess may look like an easy job, but in reality it is one the the hardest jobs in a restaurant.
Good food. But the waitresses don't like it if you come in at 850pm and make them late getting out of work at 930. Heard it straight from the waitresses mouth. And they choose to have conversations where the customers can hear what they say. Did complain to the manager but she acted as if she doesn't care.
I stop here for dinner now and again. The people here are always friendly and efficient. The dining area is clean and well-lit, which always helps my meal taste better! The food is exactly what you're hoping for, comforting and plentiful! I always enjoy my time visiting!
The staff here is a bunch of nice sweet old ladies. You feel like you're getting delicious food at your grandma's house. I love it.
